This fully funded course prepares you for an exciting career in the creative industries, focusing on entry level roles such as Production Assistant, Runner, and Junior Researcher, with clear pathways for advancement in film and TV production.

The programme develops essential production management competencies including budgeting and scheduling, location and crew coordination, transport logistics, and health and safety protocols. You'll master working under pressure whilst building strong negotiation, communication, and networking abilities alongside fundamental media law knowledge.

You’ll also gain comprehensive hands-on experience with professional camera techniques for both single and multicamera setups, audio and podcast production, and advanced editing and postproduction workflows. The curriculum emphasises strategic content capture, storytelling techniques, and industry standard project planning methodologies.

Beyond technical skills, the course covers content development, creative concepting, and production team leadership. You'll develop client communication abilities, pitch presentation skills, and critical media analysis capabilities whilst mastering professional software including Adobe Creative Suite.

The programme includes practical experience through individual and collaborative projects that mirror industry conditions with tight deadlines and specific client requirements. This hands-on approach ensures you graduate with a compelling portfolio that demonstrates your capabilities to potential employers and positions you for successful job interviews and valuable work placements in the competitive media landscape.
