Our course tutors are passionate about both teaching and Sports Massage Therapy and we aim to help all students become confident and knowledgeable therapists who are ready to develop their career in Sports Massage Therapy.
If you are good with people and enjoy helping others, have an interest in health, fitness and injury and would like an active career, then Sports Massage Therapy could be a rewarding career choice for you.
Most Sports Massage Therapists work within a clinical setting and are often self-employed, but employed positions in larger clinics are also available. Many therapists will also work with sports teams and you’ll often see sports massage therapists working at sports events too.
Along with providing a rewarding career path other benefits of becoming a Sports Massage Therapist include:
Core Elements Sports Massage courses are delivered by highly qualified, experienced and passionate tutors who all work within their own clinics alongside their teaching roles. This means that all tutors can share real world knowledge of working within sports massage therapy.
We offer a range of different courses to suit different students.
For instance, our Level 3 Sports Massage Diploma is ideal for those who want to focus on offering Sports Maintenance massage at sports events or within a clinic, but aren’t ready to learn about injury treatment.
Our Level 4 Combined Diploma is ideal for those who don’t have any prior knowledge, but who know they want to offer sports massage and injury treatment upon course graduation and would like to setup or work within an injury clinic or work with a sports team.
Our Level 4 Sports Massage certificate is a Top Up course and is ideal for those who already have a valid Level 3 Sports Massage qualification.
Core Elements training is ELC approved (ID: 13533) and all courses are accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the Sports Therapy Organisation, and free student membership to the STO is provided during study.
Our main training centre delivering Level 3 to 5 qualifications is based in Swindon, Wiltshire, but we offer wider Continued professional development courses in Liverpool and aim to offer our Level 3 and 4 Sports Massage courses in Liverpool by late 2026 – 2027.
