Rise above the rest, train with the best and join a team that works….

In the last 24 months we have experienced a dramatic increase in the number of enquiries from people who want to learn to drive with one of our highly trained driving instructors using the revolutionary LD System. Many instructors are operating waiting lists of up to six months to get started and charging premium rates for lessons. Lesson prices range from £30 to £50 per hour.

You can visit our YouTube channel The Learner Driving Centre to see how incredibly popular our training methods are, with over 150,000 subscribers and more than half a million views per month. As a result we are looking to recruit and train people to become driving instructors to satisfy the increasing demand for LDC's driving courses and lessons.

Qualifications and Training Course

In order to become a driving instructor you need to have held your driving licence for 3 years, have no more than 5 points on your licence, not have been banned from driving in the last 4 years, undertake a DBS check, register with the DVSA and pass three examinations. The first exam is a theory and hazard perception test, the second is a driving ability test and the third is the instructional test. Our comprehensive training course includes all training materials, in car training and training workshops. Training takes approximately 4 to 12 months and can be started while you are still in the forces - we can work together towards your leave date to transition from the forces to Civvy Street.
