Sava is at the forefront of professional training in the housing sector – trusted by employers and respected by learners alike. We specialise in equipping people with the skills, confidence, and professional recognition to thrive in residential surveying and housing careers.
Accredited Residential Surveyor Training
Sava has been training surveyors for more than 20 years, and our Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation has become the go-to qualification for anyone looking to build a new career in property.
This Level 6, part-time diploma is designed with career changers in mind, particularly those balancing existing work, family, or life commitments. Delivered over 24 months, the course offers a mix of face-to-face, virtual, and online learning, so you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds: practical, hands-on experience and self-paced study.
Most learners complete the qualification alongside their existing employment, transitioning smoothly into a new and rewarding profession. Once qualified, you can work with national surveying firms, local practices, or even set up your own independent business. The diploma is recognised for direct entry into the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE), opening doors to prestigious professional memberships.
Our graduates are in demand across the UK. In our most recent graduate survey, 95% were employed in the field, and 98% said they would recommend the course. After two years, our graduates report an average salary of £60,000, with many earning more as independent surveyors. It’s more than a qualification; it’s an investment in your future.
Up to £2,000 ELCAS funding is available towards course fees.
“After serving almost fourteen years in the Royal Navy, I was looking to start a career in something new. I didn’t want to spend the next four or five years at university in order to become qualified. Sava solved that problem. I would encourage any former Military personnel or those coming to the end of their career to make good use of their ELCAS funds by considering enrolling on the Sava diploma."
Matthew Barton, Sava graduate and Surveyor at Home Surveying
“The Sava surveying diploma has completely transformed my life, facilitating a new and exciting career change that benefits my entire family.”
David Cross, Sava graduate and independent surveyor
