Career Transition Partnership (CTP)
The Career Transition Partnership (CTP) is the Ministry of Defence’s official provider of resettlement for Service leavers. Its resettlement training courses run at CTP centres across the UK and cover trades, IT and cyber security, engineering, project management, health and safety, driving, renewables and business start-up. Contract-funded courses are centrally funded by the MOD; non-contract funded courses are charged at the fee quoted by CTP.

Courses range from two-day skills workshops to 20-day foundation programmes and cover the building trades, IT and cyber security, electrical and industrial engineering, project management, health and safety, professional driving, wind-turbine and environmental qualifications, and starting your own business.
Course fees. Contract-funded courses are centrally funded by the MOD. Your available Individual Resettlement Training Costs (IRTC) allowance is reduced by 5% (£26.70) for each day of training, so a five-day course costs £133.50 and a ten-day course £267, and you must allocate this via a GRT absence on JPA within 28 days of booking. Ancillary costs such as exam fees are your responsibility. Non-contract funded courses are charged at the fee quoted by CTP; see the course page for details.
