Where the jobs are

Babcock is recruiting at all levels, mainly in engineering, project management and skilled trades, with openings in manufacturing, operations and professional services as well.

Rosyth

Babcock assembled the Royal Navy’s Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers at Rosyth and now maintains them in dry dock there. The yard is also building the Type 31 frigates, and is home to seven retired Royal Navy submarines that are being dismantled, starting with HMS Swiftsure. Babcock expects to create hundreds of jobs at the site over the next few years.

Arrive from 9.30am for a 10am start; the day runs until 2pm.

Clyde

At HM Naval Base Clyde, Babcock is the Ministry of Defence’s commercial partner. It supports the Royal Navy’s Vanguard and Astute class submarines, its mine countermeasure vessels and visiting warships, and runs engineering, infrastructure and nuclear facilities across the base.

CTP has not yet published times for the Clyde day, so check them when you book.
