Ex-military staff at VodafoneThree explain how Forces skills carry across into networks, cyber security, secure business and corporate roles.
VodafoneThree is opening its Glasgow office to the Armed Forces community on the morning of Wednesday 4 November 2026. It is aimed at Service leavers, veterans and military spouses who want to see what a career in telecoms looks like from the inside.
Senior leaders, some of whom made the move from the Forces themselves, will talk about how their military experience carried across. The room then splits into interactive pods, each staffed by people from a different part of the business, so you can ask directly about the roles that interest you. Members of the company’s Armed Forces Network will be on hand throughout, and breakfast and coffee are provided.
Where the openings are
The pods cover three areas of the business:
Technology: IT, networks, cyber security, field engineering, project management, and health and safety.
Corporate functions: finance, HR, legal, commercial and corporate security.
Secure business: network and security operations centres, account management and delivery.
