TechVets, Cognizant & Belcan get into tech event Scotland 2026

TechVets is joining forces with Cognizant and Belcan to host a ‘Get into Tech’ event in Glasgow on Thursday 24 September, offering members of the Armed Forces community an opportunity to explore rewarding careers across the technology and digital sectors.

Open to veterans, Service leavers and Armed Forces family members, the event is designed for those beginning to consider a career in technology, as well as those who are ready to take the next step into the industry.

The technology sector is one of the fastest-growing industries globally, offering a wide range of dynamic, well-paid and future-focused career opportunities. Skills developed through military life, including resilience, leadership, teamwork and problem-solving, are highly transferable and increasingly valued by technology employers.

Hosted by Cognizant and Belcan in partnership with TechVets, the event will provide practical advice, industry insight and access to a supportive community committed to helping members of the Armed Forces transition into technology careers.
