SIA: search for a training provider

SIA: search for a training provider

NEWS

09 Nov, 2021

Thinking of a career in the security industry? You can use the SIA’s new ‘Search for a Training Provider’ tool to find your perfect provider …

This new tool from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) will show you training providers that offer training in the following activities:

  • Cash and Valuables in Transit
  • Close Protection
  • Door Supervision
  • Public Space Surveillance (CCTV)
  • Security Guard
  • Vehicle Immobilising

… across the following regions: Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, England (north-west, north-east, south-west, south-east, London, east, Midlands) and overseas

Please note that the SIA itself does not run training courses or receive any money from the fees paid to a training provider; neither does it approve or vet training providers, so you should be wary of any training provider claiming to be ‘SIA approved’. Training providers are approved by the awarding organisations that issue the qualifications. You should contact the relevant awarding organisation if you wish to check that your training provider is approved.
