Peabody careers insight afternoon: London 21 Jan 2027

Housing association Peabody invites the Armed Forces community to its London offices to see where military skills fit across housing, property and construction.

Peabody is opening its offices on Westminster Bridge Road to serving personnel, Service leavers, veterans, reservists and military families on Thursday 21 January 2027. The afternoon is a chance to see what working for one of the UK’s largest housing associations involves, and which of its jobs suit someone coming out of the Forces.

The afternoon will include:

An introduction to Peabody and its work in communities across London and the South East.
Careers in housing, property services, asset management, construction, customer services and corporate teams.
Colleagues talking about their own routes into the organisation.
The training, development and qualifications open to new starters.
Time to meet the team and ask about recruitment.

Roles that suit a Forces background

Peabody names 21 roles where military experience transfers, among them building safety manager, fire safety officer, compliance officer, project and construction manager, repairs and maintenance manager, facilities manager, housing officer, community safety officer, health and safety adviser, and security and resilience specialist.
