The Lloyd’s Military Network is holding its next insight day at Lloyd’s of London, showing veterans and Service leavers why insurance is worth considering.
The Lloyd’s Military Network holds its next veterans insurance insight day in the Old Library at Lloyd’s of London, with speakers covering the different roles in the market and the various routes into them.
You will hear from some of the hundreds of veterans already working in insurance, and learn more about the network’s placement scheme.
The afternoon closes with a networking session where you can meet Service leavers who have recently moved into insurance, along with prospective hiring managers.
The network’s monthly drinks and networking follow at One Under Lime from 17:00.
Why insurance
The Lloyd’s and London market covers underwriting, broking, claims, operations, technology, risk management and finance. The network makes the point that the market values experience rather than qualifications alone, and that service builds the judgement and teamwork it needs.
Please note
The insight day is in person only. Registration asks whether you need a temporary pass for the Lloyd’s building, so say so when you book if you do not already hold one.
Attending is strongly recommended for anyone considering the placement scheme, though it is not compulsory.
