ION awarded approved ELCAS provider status

The Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) has been officially awarded Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Service (ELCAS) provider status, making it easier for Armed Forces personnel to pursue a rewarding career in nutritional therapy.

“Many veterans are looking for a career where they can continue to serve others and make a real, tangible difference.” says Chris Mansi, ION’s Chief Executive Officer. “Nutritional therapy offers exactly that. It allows them to apply their problem-solving skills, resilience and life experience to help people transform their health and wellbeing.”

About the Institute for Optimum Nutrition

Founded in 1984 by leading nutrition expert Patrick Holford, with twice Nobel Laureate Dr Linus Pauling as patron, ION is a not-for-profit educational charity and one of the UK’s leading training providers of registered nutritional therapists.
