HSBC is opening its Canary Wharf offices to Service leavers and veterans for an evening on its Military Pathway Programme, a six-month paid placement.

HSBC is running an evening insight event in London on its Military Pathway Programme, the six-month paid placement that takes people from the Armed Forces into financial services.

Veterans who have already made the move will talk about how their transition went and the roles they do now. The evening includes:

An introduction to the HSBC Military Pathway Programme.

Breakout sessions with individual business areas, giving you the chance to speak to sponsors and ask questions in smaller groups.

Guest speakers.

Networking drinks.

The roles involved

Project management, change and transformation, technology, risk, and relationship management.

About the programme

The Military Pathway Programme is open to all ranks and all services. It gives candidates six paid months inside HSBC to learn about financial services, work out which roles suit them and build a network of allies in the organisation. A permanent role is not guaranteed at the end, but everyone on the programme can apply for open vacancies.
