Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust insight day 17th May 2023

Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust are hosting the inaugural Insight Day for the Service leavers, reservists, veterans and families of the Armed Forces community who are considering a career in the NHS.

The Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust has a proud affiliation with the Armed Forces community in their staff, patients and into the local community.

Roles within the Trust may include:

- Leadership and Management

- Senior Exec and Director

- Project Management

- Procurement

- Data Analytics

- Facilities and Estates

- Health and Safety

- Portering and Security

- IT and Technical

- Finance

- Administration

- Catering

- Volunteers

The Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust's Armed Forces Programme team will be available on the day to provide support and assistance as required.

The Armed Forces Programme delivers the Armed Forces Covenant commitments that include a staff network, recruitment support into NHS roles, and HM Armed Forces community patient identification and holistic welfare support.

Since May 2021, the Armed Forces Programme has assisted Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust to receive the Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award, and secure ongoing Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance 'Veteran Aware' status.
