Fujitsu career insights day for service leavers 12 Nov 2026
Fujitsu is inviting Service leavers to explore civilian career opportunities within the technology sector at a dedicated industry day in Basingstoke.
The Fujitsu Service Leavers Industry Day will take place on Thursday 12 November 2026, from 10am to 2pm, at the company’s offices on Jays Close, Basingstoke. Attendees are asked to arrive from 9.40am to ensure a prompt start.
The event will introduce participants to Fujitsu and the wide range of global IT services it provides, including cloud infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data analytics and digital transformation.
Throughout the day, attendees will receive practical advice on applying for roles, developing their CVs and preparing for interviews. The programme will also include transition stories and an open panel discussion with former Service personnel who are now working at Fujitsu.
The event is designed to help Service leavers understand how the skills and experience gained during a military career can translate into commercial technology roles. It will also give attendees an opportunity to speak directly with Fujitsu employees who have successfully made the transition into civilian employment.
Fujitsu regularly recruits for positions including:
- Network engineers, analysts and architects
- Cybersecurity technicians
- Service management professionals
- Technical support specialists
- Wintel specialists
- Cloud architects
- Project managers
- Infrastructure specialists
Opportunities are available nationwide, with a particular focus on Basingstoke, Bracknell, London, Stevenage, Warrington and Birmingham.
The event will be held at Fujitsu Services Ltd, 55 Jays Close, Viables Industrial Estate, Basingstoke, RG22 4BY. Light refreshments and lunch will be provided, and the dress code is smart casual.
Due to the security requirements at the venue, all attendees must bring valid photographic identification, such as a passport, driving licence or MOD 90. Anyone unable to produce suitable identification may be refused entry.
Serving personnel must also ensure that a request to attend a resettlement activity has been raised through JPA in accordance with JSP 534 before attending.
