As part of a new government initiative, Building Heroes is offering free training at Skills Bootcamps, with flexible courses of up to 16 weeks for those aged 19 or over …

West Sussex-based charity Building Heroes is known for providing skills training to military veterans, and supporting them into employment in the construction industry. So if you are looking to boost your skills fast, a Skills Bootcamp offers a fast-track platform.

The charity has delivered courses across England at 12 training locations, predominantly providing skills and support to Service leavers, veterans and military families, leading to employment or self-employment.

Says chief operations officer Karen Jefford: ‘The past 18 months have been strenuous for everyone, and many have experienced unemployment. Our Skills Bootcamps offer a quick way to secure a job in the construction industry.’ The Bootcamps are fully funded and provide the chance to gain a level 3 qualification with a guaranteed interview, work experience and access to a range of employment opportunities.

The training is available in the south-west, south-east, London, East Midlands, and east of England.
