The Barclays Military Insight Day will provide an opportunity for Service personnel, veterans and military spouses interested in Financial Services to gain an insight into the sector. This on-site event will take place at the Northampton campus.

Event Overview

The Barclays Military Insight Day will provide an opportunity for Service personnel, veterans and military spouses interested in Financial Services to get an insight into the sector. This on-site event will take place at the Northampton campus. Barclays Northampton is an operation of vast scale, with a huge influence and impact on the financial services industry and on the lives of millions of British people. Here, Barclays processes 18 million transactions worth more than £700 million every day and makes sure that 196 Barclaycard payments happen seamlessly every second.

Attendees of this event will have the opportunity to hear from senior business leaders, colleagues and members of the Barclays Military Resource Group, who will share their experiences of transitioning from the military into civilian employment and highlight the transferable skills that Service personnel can bring to the business. In addition, attendees will be able to join several workshops, receive a tour of the impressive campus and engage directly with hiring managers who are seeking military talent throughout 2026. The event will conclude with a networking session.
