Step into Rail. Our next event: Monday 02 Dec 2019. The National Training Academy for Rail (NTAR) will be holding a series of one day events at their purpose built training facility in Northampton.

Now in its 3rd year, Step Into Rail is designed specifically for Ex-Forces personnel, and the days will illustrate how valuable military skills and experiences can be translated for roles within the Rail industry.

The main focus of the days will be engineering, telecoms and signalling. NTAR will also be promoting other roles that require a range of skill sets, suitable for recruits from all ranks.

  • Attend: Register for your ticket HERE
  • Agenda: Monday 02 December 2019
  1. Many of the top rail companies will be present at the events, so delegates will have the opportunity to speak with potential employers and possibly to register their CVs.
  2. Tours of the NTAR state-of-the-art training facility will be running throughout the days.
  3. With no cost to attend, the days offer a full agenda with great networking, case studies of how others have made the journey into industry, and the chance to explore how military gained knowledge can be applied to careers within rail.
  4. Supported by the CTP and the Officers Association, it’s a day not to be missed.

NTAR is working closely with industry and tri-support services to develop a portfolio of training that can lead to a second career in the Rail industry. We will assist you, enabling you to utilise the transferable skills and attributes gained whilst serving in the armed forces.
