Cheltenham College

Bath Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL53 7LD,

Cheltenham College is an independent boarding school, located at the heart of the Cotswolds. College has been educating young people since 1841. Bestowed with stunning buildings and set in the heart of one of England’s most vibrant spa towns, boys and girls are provided with a modern first-class all-round education that prepares them for their next step onwards in life.

Learning is at the heart of what we do; pupils are inspired to achieve high academic standards, leaving with exam results they can be proud of. Pupils flourish under the guidance of dedicated teachers who are leaders in their subject fields.

The pastoral care at College is something that everyone takes pride in. This is the foundation which enables pupils to gain confidence in themselves. Similarly, the opportunities provided outside of the classroom are second to none. This is a busy school, offering outstanding provision within sport, creative arts and outdoor education.

Pupils are able to develop a range of interests that will last them a lifetime. The community service programme is a particularly important part of College life. This is an area in which pupils gain an understanding of the importance of giving their time to benefit others, and in doing so, an appreciation of the value of service is gained and pupils are better prepared for life after College.

Above all, Cheltenham College inspires young people who are willing to learn, ambitious to achieve and keen to get involved. Boys and girls who join at any age will leave as well-rounded young men and women, having fulfilled their true potential. They will have been prepared for life beyond school and be able to contribute positively to society.
