Hosted by the Google Veterans Network in collaboration with TechVets and the Forces Employment Charity, this event aims to provide a platform for veterans, reservists, and partners/spouses of those in the military to explore rewarding careers in the tech industry and network with the pros.
Ready to explore new tech career opportunities after military service? On Thursday 29th February 2024, Google, in partnership with TechVets and the Forces Employment Charity, will be hosting a Pathways into Tech event at Google's HQ in King's Cross for tech career-curious members of the Forces/ex-Forces community.
The afternoon-long event will include educational panels, networking, and much more.
- 1300-1330 Arrival/Registration - Google Offices, 6 King's Blvd, Kings Cross, London N1C, UK
- 1330 Keynote speeches. Attendees will be addressed by reps from the Google Veterans Network (GVN)
- 1345 Panel Session. Featuring veterans who have successfully made the move, sharing their personal journeys and success stories and offering valuable insights and advice
- 1430 Break
- 1500 Employer Presentations. Leading tech companies will provide a glimpse into what it's like to work for them, and showcase the real tech job opportunities they have available
- 1600 Networking. Attendees will be able to interact directly with the speakers, tech team members, and recruiters and discuss live roles, potential career paths, and build valuable connections
