NEBOSH online conference available on demand
Thousands of people around the world recently tuned in to the NEBOSH Online Conference 2021: Resilience in Health & Safety. If you couldn’t make it, all sessions are now available to view on demand, free of charge, until 2 October 2022 …
As leaders in the field of health and safety education, NEBOSH wanted to offer a conference that was all about sharing expertise and supporting ongoing learning for the profession. The conference kicked off with a panel discussion on risk management. Callum Irvine, global vice president of safety & security for IHG Hotels & Resorts, Neeraj Shah, group director – EHS, Johnson Matthey, and Richard Byrne, group director – HSE and fleet, Travis Perkins, shared excellent advice and insights from the risk profession.
The sessions that followed – all under the conference theme of ‘resilience’ – covered leadership, careers, human and organisational factors, and mental health and well-being. There was also a mini-mindfulness session during the midday break, where delegates joined a short guided meditation. Speakers included experts from the Health & Safety Executive, Kier Highways, Cambridge Assessment, the Filipino International League of Safety Advocates and many more.
Dedicated virtual networking at the beginning and end of the day also enabled delegates to connect with fellow professionals from around the world, and share their own experiences and best practice.
