Mott MacDonald, a global engineering, management and development consultancy with over 18,000 staff, has launched its Armed Forces Pathway to encourage, guide and support ex-military personnel transitioning into the business.
As part of the company’s ‘giving back’ culture, Mott MacDonald’s Talent Acquisition Team and current ex-forces community is providing free careers advice to ex-forces personnel and their families, offering practical assistance around how to shape CVs and prepare for interviews.
“The Armed Forces Pathway marks a significant step in growing and supporting our ex-military staff base, and we’re fully aware of the benefits to our business that armed forces experience brings", said Sally Russell, divisional general manager, Northern England. “We have learnt so much from colleagues that have joined us from the Armed Forces in recent years, and the breadth of experience, capabilities and transferable skills they bring really enhance our business. It is so important that we enable fulfilling careers and make the best use of their talent and knowledge”.
As a proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award, Mott MacDonald recognises the contribution that ex-military personnel and their families make to its business, clients and communities every day. With so many veterans and ex-military spouses already within the organisation, its commitment and dedication to the ex-services community is part of Mott MacDonald’s culture.
Andy Moulds, strategic advisory portfolio lead at Mott MacDonald said, “Our ex-forces colleagues bring a complementarity to our ability in solving complex client problems, adding new dimensions to our technical excellence. They contribute towards an even greater depth and professionalism in working collaboratively with customers and each other.”
Mott MacDonald invites those who have already left or are currently transitioning out of the forces and their families to follow the link to our Armed Forces Pathway landing page and a member of the team will be in touch to discuss next steps.
