Get your ticket before 19 November to join SSAFA for a virtual pre-Christmas wine and cheese tasting event

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity is hosting a Christmas wine and cheese tasting event to help raise vital funds to support the Armed Forces community. It is calling on the public to join the virtual event on Thursday 10 December to help raise vital funds as the charity continues to support those most vulnerable during the COVID-19 outbreak and lockdown.

The event, held virtually on Zoom, will be attended by SSAFA ambassador Vicki Michelle, accompanied by a specialist who will deliver the evening. The special experience is based on two people and available from the comfort of your own home, with a wine and cheese package delivered straight to your door, including two bottles of wine and six cheeses.

Tickets for two people are priced at £75 and a corporate package is available at £350 for five pairs of tickets.

Says Vicki Michelle: ‘I am delighted to be taking part in SSAFA’s wine and cheese tasting event this December. It’s an excellent way to get in to the Christmas spirit while raising much-needed funds for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. It’s going to be fabulous!’

About SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity

Founded in 1885, SSAFA is the UK’s oldest national Armed Forces charity, providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885. In 2019, our teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 85,000 people in need, from Second World War veterans to those who have served in more recent conflicts, and their families. SSAFA understands that behind every uniform is a person. And we are here for that person – any time they need us, in any way they need us, for as long as they need us.
