The SIA has created a downloadable flowchart with all the information you need …
On 1 April 2021, the SIA introduced updated qualifications for all sectors except close protection. It will be making further changes from 1 October. In the meantime, it has produced a flowchart that explains the changes to the training for door supervisors and security guards.

The Security Industry Authority is the organisation responsible for regulating the private security industry in the UK. Its main duties are the compulsory licensing of individuals undertaking designated activities, and managing the voluntary Approved Contractor Scheme.
