This half-day free virtual event has been created to provide members of the Armed Forces, Service leavers and ex-Forces personnel with an in-depth introduction to the digital infrastructure industry (network cabling and data centre sectors). The briefing will cover the vast array of career opportunities across the industry, as well as typical roles and salaries. In addition, you will hear from leading data centre and infrastructure organisations what it is really like to work in the industry. The briefing will also explain the ELC-funded education programmes that will help you to achieve your desired goals, as well as offering an opportunity for any questions at the end or offline afterwards.

  • the digital infrastructure industry (network cabling and data centres)

  • what it is like to transition from the Armed Forces into the Industry – hear from ex-Forces people at CNet
  • what it is really like to work within the industry – hear from invited guests from companies across the industry as they highlight ‘a day in the life of’ and key roles within their organisation

  • CNet’s Resettlement and ex-Forces (ELC funded) education programmes and how they can help enhance your career

There will also be an opportunity for questions at the end, or offline afterwards.
