12 Week - Snowsport Leadership Training Course
Interested in becoming a ski or snowboard professional... travelling the world doing what you love?
This comprehensive instructor training course will dramatically improve your skiing or riding in all terrain and in all conditions, while you earn several internationally recognised certifications to begin your ski or snowboard career.
Our highly qualified CSIA and CASI examiners, specialty coaches and mountain guides will test your skills in a wide variety of ski or snowboard disciplines including: technical demonstrations, performance carving, powder, trees, moguls, steeps, alpine racing and freestyle. To ensure you have the skills to tackle the whole mountain, this course also prepares you with a solid foundation of backcountry skiing or riding skills including advanced avalanche safety training, winter survival and wilderness first aid.
Throughout the course we focus on developing strong teaching and leadership skills enabling you to share your passion with others. In the end you will be qualified to teach skiing up to an advanced intermediate level and many prerequisites for further training.
Qualifications offered
CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance) - level 1 & level 2
(or)
CASI (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors) - level 1 & level 2
CAA - Avalanche Safety Training - level 1 & level 2
Remote Wilderness First Aid and CPR level C Certifications
CSIA or CASI Snow Park Instructor “Trained” Status
(Potential for sponsored work visas available for successful graduates) |
