The Culinary Cottage is a small residential cookery school where the emphasis is on 100% hands on experience, the courses which are from 1 – 5 days in length are limited in student numbers with a maximum of 6 on the one day courses and a maximum of 4 on the 5 day courses which ensures individual attention.
The courses take place in the purpose built kitchen with a calm atmosphere and expert attention to build your confidence, whatever your concerns or skill levels.
The school is situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park with four star accommodation.
The Basics and Advanced courses both run for 5 days, each day is very intensive and during the course all the various culinary disciplines are covered with full involvement in every aspect. A full portfolio of all the recipes covered together with many tips and hints included. To put in place a new life skill, to hone skills already in place, or to research a new career path, this could be the starting point.
